Collet Series (ERT40): Standard ER40 outer profile geometry (41 mm maximum outer diameter x 46 mm overall length) with zero collapsibility. It fits directly into standard ER40 toolholder nuts. 
Bore Diameter (18.0 mm): Precision ground round clearance bore sized exactly to hold an 18.0 mm tool shank diameter. 
Square Drive (14.5 mm): An integrated internal 14.5 mm x 14.5 mm female square socket profile. This locks the male driving square at the end of the machine tap, providing absolute torque transmission and preventing tool slippage under heavy rotational loads. 
Matching Thread & Standard Applications
This precise combination of an 18.0 mm round shank and a 14.5 mm drive square is engineered to match heavy-duty industrial taps under specific global standards:
DIN 374 / DIN 376 Standards: Fits M22 and M24 metric machine taps.
ISO Standard: Fits M24 metric machine taps.
ANSI / Imperial Standard: Fits 7/8" and 1" thread sizes.
