SDC / SDC8: Slim Design Collet series size 8. It utilizes a narrow, steep taper angle to deliver high concentric clamping force while minimizing the overall rotational nose diameter.
SIZE: 4MM: Internal clamping bore size. It is engineered to hold solid carbide end mills, micro-drills, or dental burs with a precise 4.0 mm round shank diameter.
Clamping Range: Tight tolerance system. Unlike ER collets that can compress up to 1.0 mm, SDC collets are h6-matched. This means it only accepts exact 4.0 mm shanks (no collapsing range).
Runout Precision: Ultra-precision grade, ensuring a runout accuracy of ≤ 5 microns (0.005 mm) at the collet nose to minimize tool wear and prevent micro-tool breakage. 
Speed Rating: Dynamically balanced to operate safely in high-frequency spindles up to 30,000 RPM.
