S (Clamping Method): Indicates a Screw-on clamping system. The insert is fixed tightly into the pocket using a central Torx screw (typically an M3.5 screw). E (Application): Specially engineered for External Threading (machining threads on outer shafts, bolts, or studs).

E (Application): Specially engineered for External Threading (machining threads on outer shafts, bolts, or studs).
R (Cutting Direction): A Right-Hand cutting direction tool.
3232 (Shank Cross-Section): Features a massive square shank measuring 32 mm in width and 32 mm in height. This extra-thick cross-section provides maximum rigidity and eliminates vibration when cutting large threads on big machines.
P (Tool Length): Represents the ISO standard length code for 170 mm total length (longer than the 150mm 'M' length of the 2525 holder).
16 (Insert Layout Size): Designed to mount standard 16 mm laydown threading inserts, most commonly the 16ER series (such as the standard 16ER AG60 profile).
Application & Setup Tip
Because the pocket takes standard 16mm (16ER) inserts, you can use the exact same threading inserts you already use for your smaller SER2525M16 holder. The only difference is that this 32x32mm shank allows you to run heavier cuts on larger CNC lathe machines.
