  • BAP 400R (Series Type): Represents the manufacturer's model designation for a 90-degree square shoulder milling cutter family. It is specifically engineered to achieve flat walls and 90-degree steps in a single milling pass.

  • 40 (Cutting Diameter): The absolute cutting width across the outer tip of the flutes is 40 mm. 

  • C32 (Shank Type & Diameter): Features a 32 mm straight cylindrical shank (C-type). This matches a 32mm collet or standard side-lock tool holder. 

  • 200 (Total Tool Length): The entire length of the cutter steel body from the cutting tip to the end of the shank is 200 mm. This gives it an extended reach for deep pocketing or clearing tall vertical walls. 

  • 4T (Teeth / Flutes Count): The head is machined with 4 insert pocket seats. Running 4 teeth simultaneously distributes the cutting forces and allows you to run faster table feed rates. 

Insert & Assembly Compatibility

  • Required Insert Profile: This tool bar pocket takes standard APMT 1604 style indexable milling inserts (such as APMT1604PDER Locking Components: It utilizes a standard M4 x 9 screw to anchor each insert down, which is tightened using a standard T15 Torx wrench.
