TTFR: TaeguTec Turning Face Right-hand cutting orientation holder.
3232: A massive square shank footprint measuring 32 mm height × 32 mm width. This provides maximum structural rigidity to suppress vibration under severe axial pressures. [1]
T15: The maximum radial plunge depth (CDX). The curved head is cleared to plunge exactly 15 mm deep straight into the flat face of the workpiece before the main steel shank clears the face.
6MM: The precise pocket seat width built to accommodate a 6.0 mm wide indexable carbide grooving insert (typically from TaeguTec's TDC 6 or TDXU 6 series).
🎯 The "Q300 TO 700" Working Range
When a tool holder plunges axially forward into a rotating circular face, the tool body itself must have a pre-machined clearance arc. If you use a tool with the wrong curvature, the lower steel heel of the holder will scrape or smash into the side walls of the groove.
The Q300 to 700 designation represents the strict Working Diameter Range (DAXIN to DAXX):
Minimum Cutting Diameter (DAXIN = 300 mm): The absolute smallest circular track on the face of the part where this holder can safely begin cutting. Attempting a groove at a 200 mm diameter with this specific tool will cause a catastrophic collision.
Maximum Cutting Diameter (DAXX = 700 mm): The largest face groove diameter before the curved clearance shape loses its tracking advantages. [1]
